Hello! I have a question about my kindle. I purchased a book by accident, and at first I did not know that I had bought it. I must have accidentaly pressed "buy" without knowing it. I clicked "home" and saw the book load. I tried to go back and undo the purchase, but could not. The book is still new and unopened. Is there any way to undo this purchase?
Maria, it is a fairly simple process as long as you are within the seven-day window that Amazon allows for Kindle book returns.
I recommend making sure you have either the Amazon order number of the 10-digit product number ("ASIN"), or both, and calling Kindle Support.
Kindle Support Phone Number 1-866-321-8851

Just explain what happened and ask if you can return the ebook for a refund. In most cases your refund should be approved and the book will be removed from your Kindle's Home screen and account.

I have made a purchase by mistake, too, and I simply emailed Amazon and told them what I did, gave them the order number, and asked them would they please make the book go away and refund my money. They did this immediately! Amazon is the best in the world for customer service!
Regarding the long-term life of my k2 battery, will it last longer if I recharge it when it is nearly discharged or when it is, say, 1/2 discharged or 3/4 discharged? If the battery can be recharged only so many times, say, 1000, it seems it might be better to recharge it when it is nearly completely d/ced because each of the 1000 charges would be adding much more reading time than if it were say only 10% d/ced.
Just a suggestiion...I too have purchased books by mistake. The default when looking at a book, is on the buy button. Now I always move off of the buy button, so mistakes don't happen.
I too have purchased books by mistake. I just let 'them' know and it was taken care of very smoothly. I also agree 'Amazon is the best'
