I have a question. Will this also mean higher prices for ebooks sold on the Nook? As I understand it, they also offer bestsellers for $9.99. Is this new pricing structure just for Kindle books?
Hi Gayle, yes, for now at least, these are these publishers' new ebook prices and we can expect to see them soon on all platforms including the Kindle Store, the B&N ebook store, the iBooks store and elsewhere.
Ah, so once again I am to wait for the paperback version to be published so that I might afford to read books.
I was so excited that with my kindle I was able to afford the newest books by my favorite authors as they came out.
That's too bad really. I rather hope than in this.... experiment they have decided to preform that they learn a lesson, and ultimatly bring the price of books back down.
