Kindle 3 units are already out for delivery to many thousands of Amazon customers in the US, but it's already Thursday afternoon across the pond and the first Kindle 3 shipments have arrived to happy new Kindle owners in the UK! As Sarah A. of Leeds posted several hours ago on
the Amazon Kindle Facebook page, "It's here!"

You should post something about all the people in the U.S. who have had it say "shipping soon" for over 24 hours, despite ordering early, 1-day shipping. Just check out the Amazon kindle discussion boards. If there is enough outcry, maybe someone at Amazon can get them shipped out today so we'll have them tomorrow.
I miss your commentary on publishers, the agency model, iPad, and other things obliquely related to the Kindle.
I got my K3 today in the US and so far I'm really pleased! It's lighter and smaller than K2 and the e-ink resolution on K3 is far superior (and I was not complaining about K2). I loved K2 but I have a feeling I'm going to love K3 even more. I got the wifi version, setting it up was easy, now it's charging and I'm transferring my K2 content over to K3.
