When Amazon opened its UK Kindle store this week and opened up nearly 10,000 Kindle blogs to UK Kindle owners, we were pleased and hopeful that we might attract a few British readers even with the right pitiful mess we make of the Queen's English. But we had no expectation of this!
As of this morning UK subscriptions to Kindle Nation Daily
It's also an honour to be #27 among all offerings in the UK Kindle Store, and the only blog in the top 50!
And a special thanks is due blogger Bufo Calvin who gave us a right nice write-up on his I Love My Kindle blog the other day.

Congrats, mate. TYhe king reigns, even overseas. Of course, it is well deserved.

Congrats Mate on your well deserved success from a Kindle Citizen since mid-2009 [I think]. Because of your early success in the Japanese, iPad, and UK markets, I know you are on your way to great fame and fortune.
I must also congratulate Amazon, of which I am a small but proud owner, for just being the best company out there.
I was browsing my June 2010 issue of National Geographic in their Books section, where I encountered an article from Chapter 6 of 'my FATHER the CAPTAIN' on the left page. It begins the story of how Jacques Cousteau acquired his ship Calypso. At the bottom of the page it says "Continued on Kindle". The facing page is a life size Kindle photo with the rest of the article on it. Ingenious!
Wow!
